    It really bothers me that slaanesh's unique chariots are melee only yet the riders cannot attack. With other chariots at least the rider can attack while you are trying to path out of an engagement. At least the slaanesh chaos lord can take the generic chaos style chariot and still rider attack while pathing out and it makes such a difference in my testing.

    Can we have these streams posted with either timestamps for the various battles or have them cut down to only the battles? I don’t mind the whole stream being on the channel as well for the times that we want to watch the whole thing but in some cases I just want to watch the battles and don’t care for the intermissions or gaps between the fights. Maybe it’s just me, but yeah I’d love for someone to put in some way to jump straight to the battles.

    Heartseekers and seekers bad? Since when? They are a tool with a purpose, much like exalted daemonettes. You put them into something expensive and armored like knights and their huge stats and AP damage and they will dominate. But yea, being glass cannons if you let them get shot by skirmish cav then of course they will not do well.

    I think Domination helps Slaanesh a lot, mobility is much more important when you have more than 1 objective and people can't turtle up. A bit more ranged skirmish could help Slaanesh in Land battles to pull enemies apart (Wood Elve style). Or indeed something like in Shogun 2 where holding different points on the map gives you Boni. That would be a way to bring in Objectives without really making it Domination.

    Slaaneshs main thing always seemed to be moving fast, attacking fast, and being too fast to be attacked. The buff they really need is to melee attack and defense, with maybe a missle resist added. Either that or speed up their attack rate to up their damage.

    1.Make Slaanesh chariots better. Make them the best in the game! The top tier slaanesh chariot should be as good as the dwarven thunderbarge. It should be a big deal when it rolls out on the battlefield, not a complete joke. 2. Give Slaneesh some way to mitigate damage because having low armor options but ever so slightly faster units is just not very viable in the game. Devastating flanker does not make up for it. Especially when your units keep getting stuck in shit and take tremendous damage during it

    The issue I've been having with the concept of Slaanesh is that they're supposed to be this "high skill cap" faction, but putting all of that extra effort into micro-ing half your army doesn't always pay off as intended. Having access to the fastest units in the game is great, but speed doesn't help you when you're stuck in the melee blob. Slaanesh feels like a high risk & low - medium reward.

    9:38 An important component of devastating flanker is it's entity based not unit based. A side or rear charge does not guarantee the extra damage is gained since when attacked individual entities turn to face their attack. It doesn't do nothing to be clear, but it's impact is much smaller than double CB should provide which is the main reason the Slaanesh units without nerfed CB values feel pretty similar to the unmarked versions and the units with reduced CB feel significantly weaker. CB values should not be lowered for units with devastating flanker unless they have additional stat adjustments like furies. More broadly on Slaanesh all of their mobility with the exception of Sword and Board Knights need a buff (and even those would benefit from addressing their model issues). Hellstriders either need price cuts of some of their lost damage restored. The spear versions BvL needs to be significantly higher to have a use case, and the whip version would benefit from CA restoring their AP ratio which went from a respectable 25% down to ~18% pushing the unit from quite good to the sketchy performance we see now. Seekers could use health or ld buff (or perhaps a bit of both), combat stats are good for the price but the unit is far too fragile. Heartseekers would benefit from some health, ld, but their damage is extremely poor compared to Seekers when you account for the 40% cost increase. +6 WS and +6 CB is atrocious when looking at cav balance on any other faction where upgrades provide close to +10 WS and +15 CB. For those concerned that increased health will take away from the glass cannon nature of the faction, Slaanesh daemon cav currently has 10-15% less health than elven cav at a similar price, and those get heavy armor sometimes in addition to physical resist. Slaanesh will be plenty squishy at elf health. Fiends tend to suffer from their low WS making them far less reliable than a 1300 monstrous infantry should be. 80 with 12 models puts them massively behind trolls and minos, which is observable pretty easily if you compare both units performance into a matched infantry unit. They do have an advantage in stability as quadrepeds so simply bringing their WS value to the 100-110 range that's standard for the class would be sufficient. Keepers would benefit from the standard missile resist most characters receive (including characters with physical resist baseline like malekith) and a WS boost. 470 is extremely bad for the cost even accounting for them being spellcasters. Compare their WS to mages their most expensive mounts which puts them into the similar price range and you'll find Keepers are low damage and have lower accuracy due to bad CB values. Another example of CA poorly balancing around devastating flanker. Chariots as a whole need a rework given most of them just aren't good in game 3. Issue is mostly WS and CB values are far too low though in many cases the collision attack profile wastes a lot of damage. Slaanesh chariots also have lower than average CB because of devastating flanker. I'll save the specifics but CB and/or WS boosts are needed for all of the chariots, with the size of those boosts getting larger as the chariots get more expensive. Importantly these buffs need to be tied to significant nerfs to the whip infantry since those are massively overperforming. They massively outvalue most targets in extended trades whether counter charging or braced. Losing poison and reducing their CB values by ~16 (bringing them to spear level) helps significantly in making the unit less of a swiss army knife and making their trades much less cost effective. The units are still extremely good even with those changes, so much so the warriors might also need a price hike. Slaanesh's overtuned infantry is propping up the factions garbage mobility and if not reigned in Slaanesh will become extremely problematic if the rest of the roster is balanced properly. Another quality of life element is Slaanesh Daemons should all have strider. It's a bit weird chaos knights and warriors are more agile than the Slaanesh Daemons, and this would compensate their squishiness without breaking them.

      i think hellscourges should be totally redesigned into a shock infantry, no charge defence, much lower MD, no poison and much higher damage and charge, but very low AP. Make them into a non-AP blender unit, this fits slaanesh much better than an armoured grind unit and gives the regular chaos warriors/chosen somewhat more of a niche as the anvil. right now scourges are always better for everything

    I find the *feel* of Slaanesh is quite right. If they need a buff in multiplayer, I'd rather it was almost only handled from the MP cost side, because having daemons of Slaanesh be more durable in campaign would make them absolutely insufferable (already the +15 LD made them significantly harder to deal with even when they overextend)

    Sadly if you buff Slaanesh into their thematic strengths, the Domination crowd are going to cry again, and that is the audience CA caters too and what most mp players seem to be attracted to now. Turin is like the only prominent Dom UA-camr; and gets like 6 times the views land battle channels do.

      Cheaper is the key word. Everything on the Slaanesh roster is massively overpriced. Furies being the cheapest non-chaff unit at 600. Actually Slaanesh doesn’t have chaff- I believe the cheapest Marauder infantry variant is 450 or 500? CA hates Slaanesh and is afraid to touch them except to nerf

    I don't think seekers/heartseekers should be tankier, but they should be harder to catch. I'd give all the hellstrider and seeker type units more speed. Seeing them getting caught by dogs and kited by horsemen saddens me really. And then I think they should get a similar activable ability to brettonia's lance formation, at least for seekers and heartseekers, giving them more acceleration, charge speed and bonus at the cost of melee defence. Call it "Hunting frenzy" or similar.

      @@AloysNeverood Fate of Bjuna seems to violate common sense balancing. I'm OK with dodgeable bombardment spells doing good damage, but Bjuna is uncounterable. It feels more like Magic: The Gathering where you whip out a card to cancel an opponent's card than real-time game mechanic.

      @@emultra759 Agreed. I actually think all caster in game should have access to a "counter-spell" option, giving 90% spell resistance to a friendly unit. It'd be quite balance as you would have to react quickly to an opponent casting a spell, and could also be bated, opening a whole new interesting gameplay.

    I disagree slaanesh should be squishy and should be micro dependent I think making them cheaper might be better

      Agreed, cheapen up their light cav so they can chuck another unit or two on the field would make a big difference

    I think WoC jav spam is so boring. I get its a valid and strong meta pick but it sure isnt an entertaining watch, especially since its so easy to navigate the unit cap cause of Horsemasters.

    Loved the cavalry micro by both players in that HE/BM match. Edit: The HE/BR scrap was great as well. Also, those maps are beautiful. Great job by the mapmakers.

    Some Ideas I had for total warhammer Khorne DLC Given CA's habit of dragging up things that GW has forgotten about It'd be nice if they expanded on Khorne's Industrial side. Perhaps a Hero with Chaos Runes, which used to be a thing in early editions. Could also give Khorne some blunderbusses because they do buy them from the Chorfs. If you're worried about them making Khorne less rush give them only 4 or so ammo and Skullfeast so they wind up cycle charging and shooting. Could also give Khorne "Flamethrowers" that sprays boiling blood because Khorne had a big boy version way back called the Cauldron of Blood So some Ideas for units: -Khorne Marauders (Blunderbusses) -Bloodletters (Blunderbusses) -Bloodsprayers -Cauldron of Blood -Feral Manticore -Manticore Knights Some ideas for Chaos Runes: -Collar of Khorne, direct damage with Silenced -Bloodburst, Like Windblast or Tidecall -Brazen Defiance, Buff that gives Unbreakable and Cannot Die -Call to Slaughter, literally just the Rune of Speed -A "Heal" that just gives Gorefeast to the target Melee Defense & Speed Debuff A few ideas I had that might not fit would be a Wind spell that is just summoning a herd of Juggernauts to trample all in their path, a passive item like the chalice of Blood & Darkness that summons a unit of Flesh Hounds whenever an enemy casts a spell

    Greenskins have a disgustingly bloated roster already. Just rework Slaanesh already. Should be SL, KH, Ogres. THEN another Tzeentch LL, and more Nurgle, MORE Khorne, and more Slaanesh. Then maybe we can talk about Greenskins😂

    going to arbitrarily leave my guess for khorne's up and coming units excluding the generic hero and lord as I have no idea what they could be. Legendary Lord: Azul Skulltaker. units: wrathmongers, skull reapers, centigors of khorne with throwing axes, marauders of khorne with throwing axes, and of course the slaughter brute. unfortunately, as far as units go khorne is scraping the bottom of the barrel so CA has to mostly add variants of existing units or make units from lore excerpts. The main weaknesses of khorne as it exists now are principle to its design. Lack of ranged attacks and lack of magic. Therefore, the options to deal with that need to take into consideration the factions identity. Throwing axes help alleviate khorne's ranged weakness without doing something odd like adding bows or guns, and likely the generic hero or lord will do something akin to magical support without using magic themselves. My best guess is some kind of priest type character, possibly one of them may be a beastmen. I wouldn't mind a minotaur lord of khorne. I could also see CA adding a khorne marked chaos dragon to give the mortal lords a flying mount. Personally, I would like to see the locus of abjuration buffed to be a better reactive counter to magic. Anyhow thanks for reading this inane 7 am rambling.

    Khorne should get an infantry unit like big unz or slayers, that have anti large but dual weapons and no charge defence. Could be cool!

    Ogres are so non-diverse right now, pretty much everything would be an update for them atm. Maybe we get to see shadowrunner ninjogres or something? As for the orcs: gimme dat squiggophant!

    Norsca could "easily" just get access to all marked marauders. Just tie their recruitment to the first tier of devotion in campaign. I wouldn't love having Khorne-specific units in their roster because it would imbalance it in favour of only one chaos god (though you might rightly point out that's what happened with Beastmen, but then Beastmen don't have a dedication mechanic)
